What is Pokeglobe?
Pokeglobe was started by Gaia in January of 2008. It was an effort to combat the dearth of well-made pokemon RPGs on the web. It tries to provide players with freedom of choice, the ability to greatly customize and personalize characters, and the chance to control the story of the RPG as a whole. By trying to combine the many conflicting ideas of the pokemon world into one cohesive whole, it presents characters with a wide variety of options and interesting facets of the pokemon world that have only been lightly brushed over in some section of the realm: games, anime, and manga. Regions
As quite a bit of the pokemon world needs to be described, not all regions are open as it would simply take too much time to have held the opening of the site until one person (Gaia) was finished with all the regions. That said, these are the regions described so far and their various states of development. Story progression is slow (lots of events happened before Morwen's group ever left Pallet Town, even), so it may be a while before many of the regions are even needed, however we always welcome those willing to help us build and describe each region. Working on reorganizing the administration after the site's temporary hiatus, fixing a couple things. Now that we're back, lets all work on completing areas and bringing the site back to life.
Breath pokeglobe! Breath! 12ccs of roleplay, stat!
Okay, so anyways. The way I view this revitalizing follows pretty much along the lines of Scott and MiaOH's plan. I think we should advertise the site once we get it back up and going. I think it would be nice to have Kanto completed before then, so I'm really ging to work on completing those areas. I'm working on certain cities now, and on rewording some of the site information because it still talks like its organized on a forum. If you have suggestions for changes to this, now is the time to give them. Shoot me a PM or start a discussion thread.
